Classic Record a Story: Goldilocks & The Three Bears is easy to set up. Follow these directions: - Press the button with a microphone icon. Wait for the beep and then begin reading the story. When you are ready to turn the page, press the button with the bell illustration, then turn the page and continue recording.
- When you are finished reading the entire story, press the stop sign button. While you are recording, you can start over at any time by pressing the stop sign and then pressing the microphone again. You can re-record until you are satisfied with your recording.
- You can also record a personalized message on the dedication page.
- Set the locking switch behind the screw-on plate to ensure that your recording won't be inadvertently erased. Your voice recording is permanent; it will not be lost when the book's batteries are changed.

This is a super cute book I bought for my daughter before my deployment. The sound quality isn't the best because it seems to have a lot of background noise and you have to record the whole book in one setting. I was hoping you could record each page. Other than that I really like it and my daughter can still listen to my voice reading to her every night even though I'm not there!

I bought this for my 2 year old grandaughter whom I don't see very often. I had fun reading and recording the story and on Christmas when she listened to it she was thrilled. A definite "best buy".

I received the book on time and in great condition. It was super easy to record and save the story in my voice. I definitely recommend this for anyone who has a child in their life who loves to be read to. It was a perfect gift for my niece who loves for me to read to her.

This book is easy to record. The play back quality is poor. Speaker crackles and play back not real clear. If you make an error while recording you must re-record the entire story from the beginning. I do like the fact that the recording is not page turning controlled.
